The elementary school welcomes pupils from 6 to 11 years old on 5 levels of classes (CP, CE1, CE2, CM1, CM2)

“The elementary school builds the foundation of a training course leading to a qualification, and will continue throughout one’s life. The elementary school must have high requirements that implement both memory and invention, reasoning and imagination, attention and learning autonomy, respect for rules and initiative. “

It takes into account the plurality and diversity of skills of each student. The five school years are divided into two cycles, which follow cycle 1 (Kindergarten).

Cycle 2: the cycle of fundamental learning (CP, CE1 and CE2)

Cycle 3: the cycle of deepening (CM1, CM2 and 6th)

Current national curricula are presented in major teaching areas, allowing the organization of interdisciplinary or transversal activities. They propose annual progressions in French and mathematics. Two major axes structure elementary education: the mastery of language and the French language and civic education.

In Cycle 2 appear foreign languages, mathematics, world exploration activities, arts education (visual arts and music education) and physical education and sports.

In Cycle 3, literature, history and geography, experimental sciences, and technology emerge more precisely. Information and communication technologies are tools for various school activities.

As well as the reflection and sense of observation, the taste for experimentation and sensitivity, motor skills and creative imagination are developed.
